This title is somewhat of a nick name for the three pieces in this mash up. Katinaki mou came to us from a friend who learnt it in Greece, we have since found that it is also a very well known Turkish song by the name of Çanakkale. Katerino mome was taught to us by Zhiva Voda at a Bulgarian workshop at the National Folk Festival and Kopanitsa alla Turka was passed on to us from our dear friend Owen, also picking up the tune in the session bars at the National Folky.
